What else can we say. The web is a communications medium which grows at an amazing rate. Because software companies tell everyone that they can be their own web designer, many believe it.
We understand that they need to sell more software. What we can't figure out is why people believe them. Sony doesn't convince you to become a television producer to sell you video equipment. Xerox doesn't convince you to become an author to sell you printing equipment.
