Network Consultation
The Internet is a big collection of computers linked by cables. Some links are as small as your phone line. Some are huge undersea cables, capable of carrying thousands of telephone calls and data "conversations" simultaneously. The Internet is just a huge computer network.
Computer networks were created about thirty years ago. At first they were found in government installations and laboratories. Next they made their way to college campuses where they were the domain of information scientists in lab coats.
Today network technology is built into practically every computer sold. With about $100 in extra hardware, a few hours of time and a trained person, you can have a computer network in your home. If you have more than one computer in your home or office, there are many reasons to network your computers. Click on the links to the left to get a full definition of networking.
